Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for managing technical delivery processes in Digital Media Distribution. Work hours are from 11am to 8pm.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Processing delivery orders through management systems
• Gathering elements from MAM and/or storage for delivery
• Identification and reporting on missing or unusable assets
• Spot check elements before delivery
• Metadata conforming and verification as it relates to delivery spec
• Packaging all elements to Clients specifications
• Electronically transferring files and data to other delivery entities outside of the Paramount network
• Client delivery notifications upon completion of delivery
• Meeting all deliverable due dates for customers
• Updating management systems with delivery dates, log files, screen shots
• Report evening summary to technical manager
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year experience in digital content supply chain within a studio or major vendor
• Knowledge of traditional and advanced digital mastering and digital media workflows, processes, standards, materials, and Media Management
• Understanding of digital delivery mechanisms (Aspera, Signiant, Smart jog, etc)
• Knowledge of metadata standards and transformations
• Knowledge of A/V codecs, aspect ratios, pixel aspect ratios, presentation frame size verses active picture
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required to effectively communicate with Company personnel and outside parties
• Detailed, organized, and process oriented
• Ability to multitask projects and track status across large volumes of clients
• Solution oriented and maintains composure while working through complex client related issues
Additional Qualifications
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of main stream encode and transcode systems along with commonly used codecs and Media Management
• Foreign and Domestic Mastering related experience
