Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director and Project Managers in the day-to-day management of the project and production workflow along with managing the submission and tracking of invoices for the Marketing team. Projects encompass On-air Promotions, Affiliate Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales, PR, Digital, Social. This position supports projects from the time of request through trafficking and final delivery.
This position reports to the Project Manager as part of the Syfy Marketing team.
Responsibilities
• Oversee team initiatives, as requested by Director of Production and Project Manager
• Responsible for daily tracking assets and production elements for assigned projects
• Set and manage project schedules
• Resolve financial issues involving Payroll, Finance, and Vendors
• Code and process project invoices through SNAP Finance system
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Director of Production for support
• Maintain weekly meeting agendas and/or status reports
• Develop/maintain relationships with in-house creative teams, outside Vendors and Freelance talent
• Set up new vendors with NBCU as needed
• Maintain working docs for the team and organize maintain Dropbox and other shared systems
• Book VO, mix and post sessions as needed
• Liaise with our music departments
• Establish and maintain relationships with LA/Show Production and Development
• Establish and maintain relationships with Syfy’s Digital, Strat/Brand Marketing, Sales, Legal, Research, Programming and Scheduling departments
• Maintain project budget tracker
• Administer team graphics requests and coordinate execution with designers
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid foundation and understanding of both graphics and video assets (specs, formats)
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Positive attitude
• Self-starter who is assertive, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team oriented environment
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office
Eligibility Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
• Experience in Production/Post-Production
• Experience working at a network or with a cable promotions department
