Program Director
Company Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is seeking a proven leader in key account management to become part of the Services Team. The Account Director role is pivotal to driving maximum value and success within our Key Accounts, each of which is on a journey of digital transformation across their marketing technology (MarTech) stack. Whilst of course being technology-centric, this transformation impacts across their value chain, so an understanding of the structure, governance and challenges facing enterprise organizations in today's rapidly evolving consumer environment is key. A successful Account Director leverages deep ExactTarget Marketing Cloud application knowledge in combination with business and marketing domain expertise to drive a successful program.
The Account Director partners with our rapidly growing portfolio of enterprise brands with a focus on liaising their digital orgs. This person should also be comfortable developing trusted advisor relationships with executives from the wider business, and the cross-organizational teams tied to digital strategy execution.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to alignment on program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling Company technologies.
• Serve as a change agent to identify ways to drive improvements around global processes and to challenge the customer status quo and champion a new culture of business and IT collaboration, innovation, agility, standardization, productivity, increased adoption and continuous improvement.
• Improve the certainty of absorbing large-scale transformational change by building communications, education, and continuous feedback loops that engage everyone from end users to senior leaders.
• Facilitate the integration of business and technical architectures in support of customer's strategic goals, and ensuring that solutions are scalable, extensible, and maintainable moving forward.
• Manage overall program schedule and scope and achieve agreement on key program deliverables and completion dates in partnership with various stakeholders and in alignment with customer's business goals and vision.
• Review and adjust program direction, approach, key artifacts, etc. to keep program on track.
• Build and sustain strong and trusted relationships with business partners internal and external, contributing to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement.

• Manage program level issues and risks around schedule, customer engagement, budget, etc., conducting root cause analysis and escalating as appropriate.
• Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners.
• Identify opportunities to increase effectiveness of delivery and customer engagement.
• Provide day-to-day oversight, real-time coaching, and mentorship to delivery team members
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of applicable experience as client partner, consultant or account director role at digital agency, marketing services organisation or consultancy
• Experienced in the project definition, requirements gathering, scoping and directing technical delivery teams
• Building high-level business cases, value propositions and presentation preparation and delivery across functions and seniority levels
• Clear understanding of platform ROI models and campaign success metrics
• Project management experience, including the creation of project plans, project schedules and change management processes
• Technical background with an ability to understand various Company and Marketing Cloud offerings and product features at a high level
• Ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersed team
• Ability to influence without authority
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
• Strong executive presence and ability to work effectively with C-Level managers
• Flexibility to travel
