Description
We are looking for a Program Director to join our Professional Services team. This role is responsible for managing complex, enterprise projects in pre-sale and implementation phases using hybrid project management practices. The Program Director also may drive internal projects required to evolve our delivery projects. As a Professional Services Delivery professional you exhibit an extremely high level of ownership and assume full accountability for managing and delivering high level, multimillion dollar projects and programs.
An ideal candidate has a strong background in professional services, consulting environment and is experienced in delivering strategic solutions with technical components. Experience planning and leading complex enterprise projects in a fast-paced, high growth, technical environment is critical. The ability to form strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders, proactively manage risk, facilitate high performing teams, and manage budgets and project margins are essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
Own and drive project delivery in our professional services organization. Deliver at rocket speed and with engineering precision using our best practice methodology, tools, and best practices. Own the customer’s success and adoption of our largest customers.
• Execute project delivery for multi-million dollar, strategic client projects
• Demonstrate thought leadership in value-based client solutions, program management, and resource optimization
• Design and deliver client solutions using deep project management expertise
• Facilitate executive conversations regarding budget, resources, schedule and risk
Client Management:
• Build exceptional client rapport and maximize CSAT
• Provide hands-on program and project management
• Assist in sales and business development efforts
• Exercise leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
• Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project stakeholders by providing vision and future solution road maps
Experience/Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of waterfall project management experience delivering technology services or business consulting services as a program or project manager in large, complex technical environments
• Oversight of multiple million-dollar engagements
• Experience delivering professional services for a product company
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with technical team members and clients
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings where you will articulate complex concepts
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team oriented approach to problem solving
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a high level of attention to detail
• Positive, energetic attitude willing to achieve great things
Experience/Skills Desired:
• Deep functional knowledge in Quote to Cash, Billing & Rev Req, or e-commerce
• Value-based solution sales and delivery with business and technical executive buyers
• Software-as-a-Service experience (SaaS)/cloud computing
• Experience CRM, ERP, BI, CPQ, CLM
• Deep knowledge and experience in program and/or portfolio management
• PMI PMP or similar certification/training
• Process development training and experience
• Experience with Agile SCRUM delivery practices
