Responsibilities:
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Responsibilities
Day to day administrative guidance with regards to directing staff and freelance personnel to relevant departments for needs (HR, Payroll, building facilities, Finance for billing, etc)
Logistical and operational support for staff and freelance personnel covering Sports remotes.
Working with staff NBC Sports Production Managers to ensure Digital personnel are included in hotel, ground transport, credentials (if required) etc.
Overall long term Olympic pre-planning for anticipated programming coverage.
Act as an effective communication conduit between management and the Olympic Operational and Production groups.
Act as a point of contact to help initiate the on-boarding process.
Responsible for managing budgets and timelines, ensure deadlines are met. Extensive database management for Project driven needs.
Responsibilities for Olympic “at Home” project for operational needs and support.
Production and Operational coordination with scheduling and services with the studio facility.
Will manage some Operational support staff during Olympic time period (lead up and reconciliation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of six (6) years’ experience working on the logistics, planning and execution of production projects internationally and domestically.
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
Additional job qualifications:
Remote and studio experience a must
Knowledge of the production process (start to finish) involved in Olympic and Sports Television.
Current/general knowledge of equipment, and equipment process, workflow and procedures that are needed for various production projects.
Extensive experience in database management – will utilize in-house system, but applications are a standard platform. High level of computer proficiency a must
