(BCA) is seeking a Production Coordinator Team Lead (Level C) to join our Value Stream Integration Teamin San Antonio, Texas on first shift.
The successful candidate will be an adaptable team leader that embraces organizational and process change as positives that the team should leverage in order to optimize effectiveness of the organization and their daily work. You will embrace continuous improvement principles to include One BPS (Company Production System), 5S, Six Sigma and utilizes technology appropriately to reach team and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets for Strategy and Integration.
As Team Lead, you must possess comprehension of BPIs (Business Process Instructions), BPGs (Business Process Guides), and PROs (Procedures) in order to execute decisions that support safety, compliance and the needs of the business. You must also have a full working knowledge of internal and external supplier management practices in order to assist management with logistical response times and production delay time planning.
This is a motivated team that works together to solve complicated supply chain problems and enable successful production. You will contribute as a team member alongside subject matter experts in the field of supply chain, inventory management and expedite to deliver solutions that help Company deliver safe, better and more efficient airplanes and products.

Position Responsibilities:
- Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
- Monitors and analyzes work in process
- Updates status of tools and materials using automated systems
- Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure tool availability
- Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with tooling and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy
- Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
- Leverage knowledge and experience to directly train level A & B Production Coordinators
- Invest time in the team and work individually to inspire and challenge each teammate on a daily basis to reach their personal and professional goals
- Facilitate daily start up meetings, work with management on pre-shift, post-shift and weekend work plans required to support the production line
- Act as a back up to teammates in order to fill gaps caused by unplanned and planned labor loss
- Works under limited supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience with shipping, receiving and or warehouse experience
- 1+ years of experience with loading and unloading trucks with forklift and pallet jacks
- 1+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
- 1+ years of experience in equipment management
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in equipment movement and warehouse inventory management
- 2+ years of working knowledge of inventory systems such as Cribmaster, TCOS and SAT systems
- 2+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
- 2+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED) and 4 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $46,750 - $63,250
