Position Description
The Production Coordinator, MindOverEye (full-time, salaried, regular) is a key supporting role on the Original Programming production team, working with Producers and Senior Producers to satisfy all production needs from pre-production planning to on-set production through post-production. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Provides logistical analysis and support on multiple productions on a daily basis.
• Takes extremely detailed notes during all production meetings and immediately distributes notes to production staff.
• Critically evaluates travel needs of production and chooses best options, booking travel and distributing itineraries.
• Establishes and cultivates strong relationships with a large, diverse pool of vendors and constantly strategizes ways to negotiate advantageous terms and prices.
• Contact and initiate communication with all off-site vendors as per production needs.
• Coordinate with off-site vendors as per production needs.
• Schedule and organize meetings as per production needs.
• Organize production binders with up-to-date documents and production permits.
• Act as on-set producer responsible for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the shoot when producer is unavailable. Supervises production process on set and anticipates needs of production moving forward.
• Takes extremely detailed notes during post-production editorial review sessions when applicable and prints and distributes to the necessary parties, workstations and bays.
• Possesses strong multi-task skills and remains aware of all production needs simultaneously.
• Responsible for tracking and assessing maximum workload bandwidth, and must pro-actively notify immediate supervisor to help redistribute work before problems arise.
• Prepare production vehicles with supplies, equipment, craft services, etc. utilizing PA for assistance.
• Organize all expenses on expenses system for credit card transactions.
• Collecting and organizing all invoices during wrap process and inputting into budget actual to submit.
Supervisory responsibility:
• Responsible for hiring and managing Production Assistants.
• Manages production staff on set when producer is unavailable to be present.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Film and Video Production, or relatable degree.
• Preferred 1+ years of previous production experience relevant to production assigned.

• Highly efficient and extremely organized.

• Excels when working in a fast paced high stress environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
• Requires travel and ability to fly long distances.
• Requires standing on set on location frequently.
Equipment/Software Used:
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
• Work is also performed on a variety of sets and locations.
