We are currently seeking a Production Art Coordinator whose core responsibility is to review all incoming decorated orders and coordinate additional art services, as needed, through external vendors. This position requires versatility, attention to detail, keen organizational abilities, above average communication abilities, and confidence to exercise judgement and discretion when working with outside vendors. A well qualified candidate will have basic experience with Adobe Illustrator, good analytical skills and be competent with a variety of order management platforms.
Responsibilities
• Reviews all incoming decorated orders to isolate orders requiring additional artwork services.
• Utilizes Adobe Illustrator to prepare artwork needing outsourcing.
• Prepares and submits POs for each order type of artwork service.
• Orders artwork on vendor sites.
• Maintains Excel spreadsheets to track order volume and pricing.
• Pulls finished artwork files from vendor sites and coordinates onto internal artwork servers.
• Proofs each vendor file thoroughly, paying very close attention to detail. Verifies artwork requested matches artwork created. Adheres to high accuracy standards and immediately communicates any issues with the appropriate vendor.
• Coordinates any vendor file questions or issues with a Team Sales artist or salesperson.
• Utilizes CorelDraw to create plotter files for internal production.
• Monitors and coordinates production issues, incoming rush requests and order inquiries.
• Works directly with the Customization Department and Team Sales artists, as needed, to resolve any artwork and/or stitch file issues that arise during production, ensuring orders flow through in an efficient manner.
• Follows a production timeline to ensure tasks are being completed by their scheduled due dates. Immediately communicates with their Supervisor any issues that may jeopardize a due date.
• Maintains a professional and productive workplace communication style, offering feedback and ideas supporting department objectives.
• Participates in the creative development of additional assigned projects, based upon pre-established guidelines, instructions and aesthetic design concepts.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Safari. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Other Skills and Abilities
Requires a certain degree of creativity and latitude. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
