Description
Company’s global marketing organisation leads on the marketing strategy for our business. By leveraging global centres of expertise in brand, research & insights, marketing excellence, creative services and digital, we will deliver an integrated, global-local approach that enables marketing to be a growth driver for Company.
Our new global website project will upgrade and rationalize Company’s web presence to support the discovery and sales of our products and services. It will create a user-centred, globally consistent — yet localized — web experience for our customers and learners wherever they are.
Summary of Role:
The Product manager Company qualifications is responsible for the day to day management and support of the Company qualifications website and oversight of improving customer experience, increasing engagement, brand loyalty and lead conversion.
You will lead the migration of the qualifications website to a new global platform. You will gather business requirements to support the development of website and work closely with the website content team, UX and the global web development team to prioritise requirements and align these with the global development roadmap. You will investigate, prioritise and resolve reported incidents on the website, keeping stakeholders up to date on the status of resolving incidents.
Main activities / responsibilities:
• Champion the voice of the customer in daily interactions with the development team and through quantitative articulation of business value and case for feature requests
• Work with UX team to critically evaluate areas of the website to maximise customer experience and user satisfaction
• Analyse business and customer requirements to derive themes, epics, user stories and build the product backlog
• Prioritise the product roadmap through close collaboration with business stakeholders ensuring new features align with Company best practice and global roadmap
• Manage stakeholders interests proactively and drives and maintain engagement
• Ensure that the backlog requirements are refined with with clear acceptance criteria and reviewed continuously
• Provide clear and concise decision making on open queries and ensure solutions meet customer and web content author needs whilst maintaining technical integrity
• Lead technology and operations teams to investigate, prioritise and resolve reported incidents
• Demonstrate progress and communicate issues to stakeholders and provide release notes and training plans
• Provide technical support and advice to the business and content team on platform features, functionality, limitations
• Report on standardised KPIs to measure user satisfaction, lead conversion and website performance
Qualifications, experience and personal specification:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in website development
• Previous experience of leading a website migration project
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong relationship builder with an ability to build networks
• Demonstration of exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to operate under pressure, within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment
• Previous experience with managing development teams
• Previous experience working on a project using the Agile methodology
• Intermediate SEO knowledge and experience
• Intermediate web analytics knowledge and experience
• Previous experience working on a global brand
• Familiar with content management systems, ideally Adobe Experience Manager
