Join the Ticketmaster team to help us increase the knowledge of our amazing products. Ticketmaster International, a Company company, is currently looking for a well-organized, detail-oriented and proactive person with strong analytical skills to document our broad international product portfolio of our next generation ticketing systems, client-servicing web applications (B2B), access control-, marketing- and reporting tools.
As a Technical Writer Intern you will assist in developing and updating the user documentation for Ticketmaster’s products and tools. This includes creating user guides, job aids and online help as well as videos or interactive-tutorials.
In this role, you will be able to develop a general understanding of live events market, the competitive landscape, distribution channels and Ticketmaster’s Product offerings. You will work collaboratively with product trainers, developers, product managers and subject matter experts. The documentation you create will make it easier for our customers and increase the efficiency of the usage.
You will be mentored by our Technical Writers and Product Trainers and can expect to gain on the job experience in many aspects of Technical Writing, Product Documentation and interactive eLearning. You will be expected to have an appetite to convey complex technical information in a clear and effective manner and to help to develop interactive e-Learning material. You will get an understanding of software development- and product management processes and work with cross-functional teams across various countries.
• Graduate or pursuing postgraduate degree. Computer Science, Business, Information management, Technical Writing, Computing/IT or related field.
• Demonstrable ability to produce professional, clear and concise documentation and to articulate complex subjects to business users.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrable comfort with technical and business concepts through coursework or prior experience.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Excellent writing skills, planning and research capabilities.
This is a full time (Monday - Friday 10am-6pm) paid internship that will be recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in September 2017.
