Producer Editor
The Producer Editor is responsible for both technical and editorial production aspects within a corporate production environment. This individual has had experience as both a producer and an editor and excels at both. He or she will play an integral role in conceptualizing, producing and executing long and short form video projects.
Partners in the integration of communication strategies across the company. Interacts regularly with Senior Executives. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with studio production team to produce and edit compelling, high-quality, and innovative video content for multimedia applications.
Provide clients with projects that tell stories or provide calls to action in line with corporate messaging.
Work independently to write creative briefs for upcoming projects and pitches.
Work with the Executive and Associate Producer to concept, script, and produce videos, segments, and shows that will appear internally and externally to support and enhance the Company Corporate and Cable brand.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with department manager(s) to develop and implement broad-based Employee Communications tools, providing employees with messaging and industry/competitive context for all key business initiatives.
Manages the organization, documentation, and publication of all customer-impacting content and communications.
Coordinates with content providers in the design and development of job aids, learning tools, and other communications to enhance user-effectiveness.
Reviews and edits content of communications materials to ensure content meets established communications standards and guidelines; creates strategy and messaging before publication.
Maintains existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Analyzes user feedback and metrics to provide actionable insight and recommendations on the effectiveness and impact of Employee Communications initiatives and tools. Ensures optimal communications performance with effective tools and services.
Participates in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
Keeps communications fresh, creative, and engaging.
- Provides guidance and leadership in teams or projects/initiatives.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
Typically Requires 7+ years of related experience
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communications skills, newsroom-style editorial skills, and the ability to spot, develop and see stories to fruition in video form or to take written stories and be able to translate them into compelling visual content.
Strong storytelling capability.
Expert level AVID Media Composer, PhotoShop, TeleStream, audio mixing, and color correction skills required.
Experience with Media Management systems.
After Effects skills required.
Experience working with and organizing production crews in the field.
Clear understanding of preproduction and post-production processes.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible.
Direct experience producing content for video or broadcast with a media or corporate organization (reel work examples required)
Acute attention to detail while under pressure.
Ability and desire to personally interact and present to executives at all levels of the company.
Ability to manage a large volume of multiple assignments and tasks, collaborate with the team and bring patience when faced with multiple reviewers for projects under tight deadlines.
Initiative and motivation to take ownership of work from beginning to end.
Excellent organization skills.
Creative ability and aesthetic judgment.
