JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Associate Procurement Representative in our Direct Team. The Associate Procurement Representative provides support to our Direct team to focusing in continue process improvement, cost and operational efficiencies and supporting categories to optimize TDC sourcing process-inbound initiatives. Typically reporting to the Procurement manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example the regional and global safety and ethical initiatives.
- Analyse in detail the non-value-added losses in procurement /supply chain (inbound process).
- Identify opportunities and strategies for loss elimination across inbound process.
- Creates a logical plan, realistic estimates and schedule for an activity or project segment.
- Understand the risk associated with the process and the respective mitigation plan for each risk identified.
- Ensures progress, issues and agreements are properly documented and acted upon.
- Must be able to propose process improvement ideas which can reduce time, cost, improved accuracy or enhance controls.
- Responsible for financial reporting of savings projects and headwinds
- Participates in Knowledge Transfer of any process/client and acquires in depth knowledge of process.
- Collaborate effectively across Supply Chain functions.
- Effectively communicates results, and metrics to leadership/stakeholders as required.
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience to include:
- Bachelor degree or higher education of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance).
- 1-2 Years previous experience in Supply Chain.
- 1-2 Years previous experience in analytical roles.
- Proficiency with ERP software (preferably SAP), ACCESS, POWERBI/TABLEAU/QLIKVIEW.
- Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge in other European languages (a plus).
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Additional (plus) qualifications and experience include:
- Procurement experience as direct/indirect analyst.
- Previous experience with eBidding and/or P2P platforms
- Advanced analytics (SQL, VBA).
- IT Analyst willing to move to Supply Chain roles.
