Managing the Accounts Payables for a client in Eindhoven

One of our projects in in the Netherlands is the second largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands and Belgium with 70,000 employees and 750 stores, offering their clients a wide range of products including everything you need for your daily needs, starting with fresh food to household goods and drugstore articles.
Purpose/Essence of the role:
Act as an expert and team leader for our project team with 16 members; ensures process compliances, resolution of escalations; track and report project status regularly; contribute to process improvements with the objective to sustain delivery predictability and meet client and internal commitments within the guidelines, policies and norms of the company.
- Providing technical leadership to the team:
◦ Coaching, motivating, and developing team members
◦ Ensuring the technical quality of work
◦ Delegating tasks and responsibilities
◦ Conducting regular performance reviews
- Organizing and optimizing processes in accounts receivable:
◦ Developing and implementing efficient processes
◦ Ensuring compliance with legal requirements
◦ Continuously improving workflows
- Monitoring incoming payments:
◦ Reconciling open items with customers
◦ Initiating dunning procedures
◦ Clarifying payment difficulties
- Collaborating with other departments:
◦ Interfacing with sales, financial accounting, and controlling
◦ Coordinating processes and information
- Reporting:
◦ Preparing reports on accounts receivable
◦ Analyzing key figures and trends
◦ Reporting to the management
Requirements:
◦ Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent with proven knowledge of financial accounting and finance processes
◦ Team Lead experience
◦ Strong Leadership Skills
◦ Significant experience in Accounts Payables environment
◦ Finance process knowledge, ideally lean-certified
◦ Optional: SAP ECC with FiCo, moving to S4 with VIM Open text
◦ Affinity with retail and/or FMCG
◦ Great communication skills
