Wealth Management Operations
Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Company has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Margins team provides oversight for the Broker-Dealer by monitoring cash and margin account transactions to ensure compliance with Regulation T, FINRA 4210, SEC 15c3-3 and Firm policies. The team performs collateral calculations based on the loan agreements and policies and procedures to ensure that the exposures are within the defined support levels. This team works in conjunction with our Field offices to resolve collateral calls and ensure client transactions in cash and margin accounts are properly settled within Firm and regulatory guidelines.
Function / roles and responsibilities
We currently have an opening for a director role for the Margins team in South Jordan, UT. The successful candidate will join the team with the below responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day RTB escalations of the team to ensure that account analysis is in accordance with Firm and Regulatory policies
-Monitor the status of day-to-day critical collateral calls and liaise with stakeholders fluidly
-Respond to ad-hoc enquiries from sales / sales assistants and resolve complex problems
-Work with IT and global counterparts on system enhancements and continuous development of RTB infrastructure
-Lead regional initiatives and projects to improve existing controls
-Lead in team resource planning, training & development, succession planning
-Supervise the teams day-to-day activities and ensure equitable distribution of the work
-Responsible for KRI, controls, dispute management and regulatory reporting
-Demonstrate leadership to lead the regional team in South Jordan, UT in both RTB, CTB and efficiency improvement.
Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree
-5+ years of relevant working experience
-Good understanding of financial products, including equity/fixed income and options.
-Knowledge of Regulation T, FINRA 4210 and 15c3-3 regulations
-High level of integrity and able to work under pressure
-Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, being able to communicate clearly and concisely, moderating style and delivery to suit different parties and media
-Candidate should be able to organize themselves efficiently, keep track of multiple outstanding items and meet tight deadlines
-Demonstration in their past work experience of robust analytical skills, high attention to detail and process improvement
-Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work either on their own initiative as well as be a solid team player
