Wealth Management Operations Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Company has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
The Private Banking Operations (PBO) team provides operational processing support for banking products offered to Company clients. This role is for a Director who will oversee Operations activities of the Account and Vendor Services team associated with both of the Company card programs (MasterCard debit card and American Express), as well as supervising the vendor processes to insure these accounts are appropriately updated on the various internal and external applications. The card programs require careful management to insure compliance with the association rules (MasterCard, STAR), oversight of authorization processing, debit card replacements and transaction settlement. The role will also participate in the various strategic retail banking projects impacting the cards.
Qualifications
The right candidate will be a knowledgeable point of contact for various vendors and internal Company partners in Product, Technology, Finance and Operations with the ability to discuss new opportunities and oversight of vendor related activities. Additionally the candidate should be knowledge of external factors and industry initiatives that will help drive the future of the banking products as this role requires deep subject matter expertise of the current retail banking landscape specifically as it relates to the card industry rules. The candidate must be able to effectively escalate and resolve issues, work in a fast paced environment that requires adapting, manage the team to meet deadlines, execute functions in a controlled environment, deliver superior client service, and assist with planning, testing and implementing several high profiles Banking projects, as well as providing leadership across PBO, coaching and development of staff.

Strong leadership skills and experience in managing staff
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
Ability to drive change and improve efficiencies on the team
Self-motivated and willing to assume responsibility
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
5+ years experience in bank operations is preferred
