Come work with the Company Cloud Operations Engineering team and use your expertise and skills to build and support Company's growing and dynamic SaaS product family.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build and deliver all aspects needed to manage large scale global public cloud presence without human intervention
• Develop the automation framework for deployments on public cloud infrastructure
• Drive automation opportunities to improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance, including learnings from incident troubleshooting and remediation.
• Build infrastructure and application monitoring to detect or prevent incidents and the findings to build self-healing infra-structure
• Propose cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability, performance and cost
• Build tools to automate repetitive tasks with reuse and adaptability in mind
• Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements
• Demonstrate and deliver high quality work, by building the necessary tests and test infra-structure to validate any code written
• Participate and contribute in inner and open-source development
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service, AWS preferred
• Experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Java, Go and/or Node JS
• Configuration management experience with one or more tools such as Puppet, Chef, Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows systems in a production environment
• Solid understanding of system performance and monitoring solutions like ELK, Splunk, SUMO, etc.
• Experience with modern container orchestration systems like Mesos, DC/OS or kubernetes
• Good working knowledge of build automation and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools: Jenkins, Git, Perforce, Maven/Gradle, Ant, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, etc
• Demonstrate skills in priority setting, analysis, communication, time management, scheduling, and multitasking
• Ability to collaborate well in team environments
• Clear communicator with a positive attitude
