Department Profile The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity-linked and equity-derivative securities. The Firm’s equity Sales & Trading operations provide liquidity, distribute content, and create product solutions to help our clients generate alpha. The Equity Financing Products department acts as a strategic partner to more than 800 top hedge fund managers: executing and clearing trades across asset classes, time zones, and currencies; providing financing and expertise to help manage risk and benefit from technology; and consults to help launch new funds and connect with them potential investors. Job Description Capital Introductions is the process whereby the prime broker introduces our hedge fund clients to qualified hedge fund investors who have an interest in exploring new opportunities to make hedge fund investments. The Company Prime Brokerage unit goal is to provide an added benefit to the suite of support accompanying a Company prime selection. Responsibilities   • Facilitating the interaction between US hedge funds/European investors and US investors/European hedge funds.   • Assisting with the origination of new Hedge Fund launches to our PB sales team   • Assisting with PB sales process to discuss Cap Intro product   • Creation of Hedge Fund landscape and content presentations to be presented to investors and managers   • Provision of consulting service to new launches and advising them on the build out of their new fund/firm.   • Managing ongoing Hedge Fund client relationships. Qualifications Desired skills   • Top class undergraduate degree or equivalent from leading universities   • Experience within the financial sector; work experience within IBD or IED preferable   • An understanding of Hedge Fund strategies and the Prime Brokerage model would be useful   • Fluent in English; additional European languages could be valuable   • Strong analytical and modelling skills   • A positive, highly motivated individual who exhibits strong leadership and management qualities   • Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment   • Demonstrate best in class professional integrity   • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential   • Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence   • Committed to delivery of highest quality work product; strong attention to detail   • Proactive; self-motivated and goal oriented   • Strong organizational skills   • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines   • Strong team player able to work effectively in a team environment Company is an equal opportunities employer.
