The Public Relations team manages media relations and programs that increase public awareness of Company to enhance and elevate our brand reputation both from a consumer and b2b perspective. PR also collaborates with our brand partners to extend the reach and promotion of their individual brands.
A Day in the Life
The Coordinator will help facilitate overall execution of the Company, Inc.’s Corporate Affairs function and will be an integral part of that team as we execute day-to-day internal and external communications, executive support, crisis communications, event management and HSNi Cares campaigns. Responsibilities would include assisting in the planning and production of communication materials and overall coordination and support for the team. This position also includes general administrative activities.
• Town Hall & Leadership Meeting logistics
• Speaking Engagement & Award facilitation
• Manage video and photo shoot logistics in partnership with internal teams
• Support management of HSNi assets (Cares & Corporate)
• Support logistics for HSNi executive board membership (Corporate & Philanthropic)
• Briefing document assistance
• Internal Event execution (Flash meetings, Charity Events, Executive requests, Employee Engagement)
• Maintain / manage calendar for Head of Corporate Affairs
• Coordinate/book travel as needed
• Assist in schedule planning for team as well as senior leadership
• Liaise between external contacts and internal teams as needed
• Assist team with administrative budget issues
• Maintain and distribute Corporate Calendar of Events
• Assist and oversee Creative in developing PowerPoint Presentations for various business needs (UMO requests)
• Handle general administrative duties for team

Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or Marketing
• Excellent verbal/written skills and corporate writing skills
• Able to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to interact professionally and build rapport across the organization
• Thorough knowledge of Word Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves"
Nice to Haves
• Previous working or intern experience with a PR agency or in-house PR/Communications division
