Company Engage is an internship for freshman students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical major. We believe that building diverse teams is essential to building great products, so we especially encourage applications from groups currently underrepresented in the field of computer science. This is an 8 week internship program in San Francisco, CA. Please submit your application by February 3,2017 to be considered. What we're looking for:   • Freshman students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical major   • Applications from groups currently underrepresented in the field of computer science (women, Black, Hispanic, and American Indian populations) are especially encouraged   • Excitement and curiosity for the tech space and passion for Company   • Availability to work in San Francisco, CA from June 12, 2017 - September 1, 2017 What you'll do:   • Gain exposure to what it’s like to work as a software engineer in the tech industry   • Gain complete ownership of a high impact group project and work alongside fellow interns to help build and scale Company   • Work side by side with a mentor to help you grow as an engineer and excel your development
