Company is looking for a Partner Manager who will lead the relationships with some of our key Company Marketing Partners and be responsible for educating and enabling their teams on the value of Company as a marketing channel. This role serves as the primary point of contact for both the partner and internal Company teams across Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
The ideal candidate will create a level of expertise among each partner’s sales and account teams on Company’s advertising solutions and how they drive revenue growth for both the marketing partner and our advertiser/agency partners. Combining both strategy and execution, the Partner Manager will effectively drive Company initiatives through each partner company and its teams.
What you’ll do:
• Educate the Company Marketing Partner on the holistic value and narrative of Company for both Pinners (Users) and Partners (Advertisers)
• Enable the Company Marketing Partner sales and account teams by training them on Company’s advertising platform and best practices
• Continually keep Partners updated and informed of all new ad product and ad programs so they are able to effectively present Company’s new offerings to advertisers
• Strategic problem resolutions
• Work with the Marketing Partner’s sales team to forecast, manage, and drive growth of their clients’ Company investments
• Create and maintain relationships between the sales teams of our Marketing Partners and Company so teams can collaborate to grow our shared clients’ businesses.
• Lead marketing efforts with Marketing Partners via industry events, PR, thought leadership, case studies, etc.
• Educate Company’s sales teams to the unique value each Marketing Partner brings to advertisers and agencies
• Proactively bring market and product feedback from the Marketing Partner to key stakeholders at Company
• Represent Company at Marketing Partner events, particularly those where advertiser and agency interfacing are involved
• Lead quarterly business reviews with key Marketing Partners to drive exec alignment and ensure we’re focused on driving new and existing account growth together.
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing programs for advertisers or their agencies, or experience working with or at digital ad technology companies
• A strong understanding of marketing technology and digital platforms across the Display, Search, Social, Programmatic, and Mobile ecosystem
• Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance relationships with clients within a partner ecosystem, with a focus on proactively anticipating and solving problems.
• Proven track record of managing a revenue pipeline with forward-looking predictability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for action
• Aptitude to work in small teams but influence across the organization via effective cross-functional leadership and communication
• Effective at working with peers and managers across business, product, and engineering disciplines
• Enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and move quickly while keeping the big picture in mind
