Overview

This position is an ideal role for a current college student or someone with a flexible schedule who is available to work 20 to 29 hours on a part-time basis. Work will generally be within weekday business hours but attending evening and weekend events will be necessary. This role contributes to the overall success of the marketing department by assembling video production elements and photographic elements into finished programs. Providing camera, lighting, sound and editing support for in house video productions. Preparing for photo shoots (e.g. scouting locations, scheduling, renting equipment, etc.) Setting up or taking down lighting, backgrounds, props and other equipment, capturing images, processing images, creating final print images or digital files and archiving images. Contributing creative and technical solutions to meet program objectives and budget. Ideal candidate has graphic design ability and can assist in that capacity when needed as well.
Responsibilities
• Assist Video Productions and Graphics Manager in all activities including internal and external content shoots and edits (both photo and video) & event coverage.
• Ability to edit videos for internal and external usage.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate and efficient photo studio and video production calendar.
Qualifications
• Currently obtaining BA or FA in Television Production and Digital Photography or equivalent degree
• Strong experience in current and emerging video and photography technologies
• Editing (provide examples)
• Still-life/studio photography experience is needed (provide portfolio)
• Strong project management skills
• Graphic design experience a plus
