Core Audience is the data and programmatic advertising solutions business unit at Hearst. We help our advertiser clients drive audience engagement at scale; transforming consumers into customers using data science, cross-platform reach, dynamic ad experiences, and insights-driven optimization.
Hearst’s Core Audience is looking for an Optimization and Yield Analyst to join the Revenue Operations team. The primary goal of this role will be to provide reporting, analysis and insights on Core Audience’s financial performance as well as Hearst’s digital programmatic revenue. This position will report into the Associate Director of Revenue Operations and work closely with the finance, yield and operations teams across Core Audience and Hearst.
Responsibilities:
• Provide reporting and analytics on Core Audience’s financial performance
• Deliver analysis and recommendations on campaign performance, inventory allocation, pricing, and systems improvements to management team
• Own communication and reporting of product revenue, yield trends to senior sales leadership (For Core Audience and Hearst Digital)
• Apply quantitative techniques and systems to drive yield optimization, increase operational efficiencies, and unlock new revenue opportunities
• Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models, to support decision making
• Use trends and market insights to develop valuable recommendations
Qualifications:
• Education: BA/BS in business, statistics, advertising or related field
• 2-4 years of finance and/or analytics experience (digital advertising experience preferred)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
• Experience with online advertising platforms a plus (DFP, DBM, Salesforce, AppNexus, STAQ, DOMO)
• Data driven thinking, excellent quantitative skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong project management skills preferred
• Power user of Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
