Position Description Summary:
The Company Medical Faculty Associates Inc., an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the Company, is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in the Division of Gynecology Oncologyof the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing excellent patient and clinical care to hospitalized patients as well as consultations for outpatients, teaching residents and medical students, and maintaining an active research portfolio. Gynecologic Oncology specialists work five half-day sessions in the clinical area and have five half days each week to perform surgery, complete administrative responsibilities, and conduct scholarly work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the time of appointment, on schedule for or board certified in Gynecologic Oncology, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland at the time of appointment.
