The Internship:
We’re looking for an innovative thinker who has the ability to generate excitement for their ideas throughout Live Nation to join us as a spring intern on the Marketing Promotions team. Success in this role requires a combination of strong creativity, flexibility, stick-to-itiveness, responsiveness, follow-up and follow-through, strategic thinking, and a hunger for the win.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn the process for developing Marketing Promotions for Live Nation Venues and Tours
• Partner with marketing, creative, media and legal to assist in the execution of Summer promotions
• Track and analyze Summer promotions to create recap reports and case studies to be used for best practices
• Assist in developing/brainstorming future marketing promotions to drive ticket sales
• Research past and present competitive promotions to evaluate the marketing landscape
• Coordinate fulfillment of prizing for promotions winners
• Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be eligible for school credit (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request)
• Majoring in business, marketing, communication or a related field
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have an avid interest in music, knowledgeable about artists and genres, and an overall interest in learning about the music industry
• Must be able to commit to 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
• Knowledge of social media sites and tools, and an active participant in social networking
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks
Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Basic working knowledge of Photoshop
• Creative thinker
