PURPOSE
Be a key support function for the Marketing team project managing the updates of all Rimmel London cosmetics permanent units across retailers nationwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trade Marketing Executive will
• Work closely with the Brand Managers & Assistant Brand Managers to understand their relevant retailers and Rimmel business.
• Through guidance from the Marketing team brief our third party supplier on stand updates for new products and promotional strips.
• Manage the stand update process from beginning to end, checking planograms, raising codes, approve strip artwork pricing, text, and instructions sheets. Following the CPA to ensure deadlines and delivery dates are always adhered to. Update the marketing team throughout the project to ensure full alignment.
• Liaise with the sales team where retailer approval is required.
• Approve quotes, raise and receipt PO’s in SAP and input into a tracker.
• Work with our Global Team & Third Party Supplier in developing formings & cassettes for our new products in a timely manner.
• Coordinate production, printing & delivery of Ingredients Cards for all new products launched into Rimmel, Miss Sporty & NYC cosmetics to allocated deadlines.
• Work with our Category Analyst to manage stand productivity per planogram, ensuring maximised sales.
• Collaborating with the category analyst & sales team to analyse new product launches reporting back to the business.
Carrying out any other reasonable management requested tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with energy, enthusiasm and a dedication to succeed. You will be given responsibility from the start and will be expected to take charge and make things happen.
• Degree in related discipline or equivalent.
• Previous related experience within Health and Beauty.
• A good understanding of project management in a mass retail environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills. Attention to detail essential.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally & externally and be a good team player.
• Demonstrate a pro-active attitude and flexible approach.
• High level of numeracy, able to work to deadlines, excellent PC skills, maturity and excellent communication skills.
• A passion for brands, especially colour cosmetics.
