Kean University is seeking a full-time Head Coach responsible for all aspects of the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Program in the highly competitive New Jersey Athletic Conference. Reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreation, the Head Coach coordinates and oversees all aspects of the Men’s Soccer Program with strict adherence to all NCAA, NJAC and Kean University rules and regulations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; recruitment and retention of student-athletes; scheduling; fundraising; travel arrangements; budget; and related work as required.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of collegiate coaching experience, as well as demonstrated skills in developing and motivating student athletes for athletic, academic and personal success required. Candidate must possess effective communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. Master’s degree is preferred.
