Job Summary:
Exposure to a broad range of marketing research.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in weekly staff work analysis sessions
• Participate in stewardship of OurMedia (Katz proprietary research panel) – 2x/wk meetings with team to brainstorm and research survey topics, questionnaires, analysis. Plan own activities for the panel
• Aid in analysis of KMG resources (Scarborough, MRI, etc.), and industry research
• Participate in consultations with salespeople for slides and decks for sales meetings / agency questions
• Create/revise marketing materials for Insights and Opportunities to conform to style guides
• Write own Insight / Opportunities piece(s) – choose & research topic, write piece, go through editing process with team
Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Assume responsibility and accountability for assignments and tasks
• Actively listens and effectively conveys information; uses professional telephone skills; demonstrates effective business writing skills
• Exhibit good interpersonal skills; collaborates with others
Work Experience:
• Intern experience in media/research field a plus
• Career interest in media/research industry
Education:
• Full-time undergraduates (rising Junior or Senior) at a four-year college
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Media field of study a plus, e.g., Communications, Marketing, Marketing Research, Broadcast Journalism
