Job Introduction

This post supports the day to day implementation of the marketing and publicity strategy for the Company London Orchestras and Choirs – Company Concert Orchestra, Company Symphony Orchestra, Company Singers and Company Symphony Chorus.
You will work as part of a Marketing, Publicity, Learning, Audience Development and Publications team.
You will be managed by the Marketing Manager, Company London Orchestras and Choirs
Role Responsibility
Working as part of a Marketing, Publicity, Learning and Audience Development team you’ll provide support to the marketing and communications team, and assist in the implementation of the marketing and publicity strategy for the London performing groups, with duties including maintaining websites, compiling e-newsletters, and acting as the front of house representative at live events and concerts.
The Ideal Candidate
You will need to have a good understanding and experience of marketing and publicity techniques and how to apply them with proven experience of working in this kind of environment. An interest in, and enthusiasm for, a wide range of music and proven experience of updating and maintaining dynamic websites and using social media. Excellent written skills are essential as well as proven proofreading experience with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You will need the ability to organise and prioritise a variable workload and work independently and as a team player. You will ideally have the ability to deal with a wide range of people with tact and diplomacy.
