An opportunity has arisen to join the global curriculum team at an exciting time for Macmillan Education. We are looking to recruit an outstanding Marketing Manager who is commercially aware, creative, has experience working with International Curriculum Bodies and supporting English Medium schools globally and can evidence data driven marketing success in this segment. The candidate must understand the problems and needs of teachers and learners in classrooms all over the world.
A willingness to travel to the region for 10-15 weeks of the year is required.
Responsibilities
Marketing:
• Create and implement an innovative marketing strategy for the English Medium project
• Work with the wider marketing team, drawing on existing expertise, to implement
• Train local teams on marketing into the English Medium segment; positioning, needs and expectations.
• Collaborate with Macmillan’s local teams to ensure requirements are successfully fulfilled
• Liaise with Curriculum bodies and partners for positioning, messaging and approval.
• Web creation and collaboration
• Implementation of a CRM strategy, in line with Macmillan’s overall strategy
• Create appropriate sales tools
• Market research
Experience, skills and qualifications:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Proven experience in strategic planning, implementing innovative and results driven campaigns
• Managing budgets and proven cost control
• Extensive experience of marketing into the International Schools segment, including experience of working with international curriculum bodies
• Target driven
• Sound knowledge of publishing business models
• Working with and implementation of CRM systems
• Proven cultural awareness
• Awareness of global marketing trends and techniques and a commitment to developing marketing best practise.
• Social media marketing expertise and awareness
• Web development
• Influencing and motivational Company websitey to network at a high level
