Company Enterprise’s Marketing Department is currently seeing an experienced, digital savvy Lead Gen Marketing Manager, Government/Education to join the team. This position must be based in Charlotte, NC.
Position Summary:
Lead Gen Marketing Manager – Government/Education will be responsible for development and execution of marketing strategies, demand gen and lead generation acquisition campaigns, and sales enablement tools targeted at the Government and Education verticals. Primary goal is to create government and education targeted creative, messaging and programs to drive a 10%+ increase in overall revenue growth.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and implement the government and education acquisition strategies and calendar outlining key campaigns and programs to support lead generation goals. Provide ongoing team updates on campaign components and implementation progress to plan.
• Ongoing, independent understanding of the government/education vertical’s technology/communication needs, business drivers and pain points and how they translate to Company Enterprise solutions. Development of insightful messaging that drives engagement and lead generation.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop and execute compelling government/education campaign strategies, offers, creative messaging, and appropriate segmentation to generate the required level of vertical leads to support a 10%+ increase in overall revenue growth.
• Interface with key stakeholders to align strategies and ensure proper campaign and sales enablement execution, including finance and legal reviews
• Work with Digital Segment and Marketing Analytic teams to establish acquisition target audiences, campaign goals and measure actual campaign results to goals in order to improve future campaign performance. Analyze and thoroughly understand campaign performance, by segment, by tactic, by market in order to optimize future campaign lead generation performance.
• Manage creative agency relationships in order to execute creative campaign requirements in a timely fashion. Track and report on ongoing agency expenses to ensure alignment with budget goals. Maintain competitive pricing and quality output from all agencies through ongoing RFPs and price quotes from various agencies in the marketplace.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in developing and implementing government or education focused programs, preferably in the cable/telecommunications/technology industry.
• B2B (business to business) marketing experience required.
• Government / Education experience ideal
• Proven track record of creating and implementing innovative digital customer acquisition programs that align with the buyer’s journey and focus on generating new business leads in support of achieving/exceeding sales growth and revenue goals.
• Prospect targeting utilizing a structured, scientific market segmentation approach that incorporates demographic and behavioral data.
• Development of integrated campaigns involving marketing automation, digital marketing and sales enablement tools to drive engagement and demand generation.
• Creative agency management, creative direction, and associated expense management.
• Oversees the creation, maintenance and distribution of a calendar of all planned government and education focused lead gen marketing activity.
• Must be a team player willing to actively collaborate with marketing peers and key stakeholders to effectively align and communicate key goals and objectives.
• Relevant copy writing and creative samples
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong project management skills are required.

Education and Experience
• Minimum of 6+ years of B2B marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience required. MBA preferred.
