Reporting to Marketing Director, Content Products - Education, you will be responsible for developing marketing strategy and execution for the Nursing market segment (RN) and related products and disciplines throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. This role will partner with Content Strategy, Sales, and other Marketing teams to drive revenue growth through effective product strategy, sales enablement, channel partnering, and go-to-market efforts.
As a member of the Content Products Marketing team, you will:
• Analyze the market and competitive landscape using existing and new market data to create product marketing strategies that ensure our products and marketing initiatives meet existing and emerging customer needs;
• Develop and execute yearly product marketing strategic plans;
• Create, update, and maintain product information that supports the efforts of multiple sales channels;
• Educate sales on markets and new products;
• Collaborate with content strategy teams on product development & market positioning;
• Contribute to pricing strategy and participate in pricing and sales forecasting activities;
• Create sales enablement tools using best practice sales enablement approaches. Track and analyze results of sales enablement efforts;
• Plan & execute on convention strategy;
• Support sales efforts to close business;
• Partner with integrated / campaign, digital, and creative services marketing teams to execute marketing strategy to drive awareness, demand, retention, and acquisition;
• Ensure revenue attainment for assigned disciplines.
This position calls for 15% travel to assigned professional conventions, sales meetings, and select customer calls.
Qualifications:
Must have a B.S./B.A. in marketing or related field. Candidates with more than four years of marketing experience in a related industry, preferably in a business-to-business setting, will be strongly considered. You should have proven clear ability to execute on plan. You should be proficient with Microsoft Office software and comfortable using database software. You should have experience working with a wide variety of departments / stakeholders and be able to demonstrate individual initiative as well as collaboration skills. Advanced written communication and unparalleled interpersonal skills, You should be very comfortable giving presentations to both large and small groups.
