Job Summary:
Live Nation Salt Lake City is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for marketing concerts and private events at The Depot, Salt Lake City’s best live music venue. The ideal candidate must be passionate about live music and event promotion.
General Responsibilities:
• Managing radio, television, print and social media advertising for concerts at The Depot
• Creating, organizing and maintaining show budgets and ad grids, in addition to invoicing and settling each show
• Communicating with national and local promoters about advertising requirements for each individual show that plays at The Depot
• Attending shows and providing information on all aspects of show marketing and ad grid to touring personnel
• Overseeing weekly marketing meetings with the staff and providing updates on show budgets, ad plans, and promotions
• Creating day of show on site sheets that provide full details of all media activity, contest winners and radio promotions that may be taking place at the event
• Overseeing all approved press and/or media on event nights
• Other duties as assigned by marketing team
We are looking for someone with the following experience/education and key competencies:
• A strong love of music and the ability to attend events on nights and weekends
The ideal candidate for this job will have:
• A combination of experience in advertising, marketing, media, live event management, or the music business is required
• Experience with social media is highly preferred
• A creative flare and ability to brainstorm with the marketing team about new ideas, promotions, and how to sell tickets
• Promotional experience
• Experience in media buying, print placement, digital, and Excel
• Very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• The discipline to work independently, but the willingness to collaborate with the marketing team on other promotions, ideas, and projects
