General Description
Oversees the process development for planning, implementation, and tracking of brand initiatives and launches across all marketing channels and in support of Company strategic priorities. The role involves managing projects across a variety of stakeholders and collaborating with a variety of internal and external partners for alignment. The role will also involve facilitating and participating in brainstorm sessions, managing vendor relationships and meetings when needed, budget management and monthly review, alignment and seasonal support plan development.
Performance Requirements
Project Management
• Seasonal and Monthly Creative Brief development, combing all Marketing Functions (Brand Presentation, Strategy, Creative, Operations, Digital/Ecom, Insights)
◦ Collaborating with Marketing and Cross-Functional partners for planning meaningful content for various channel objectives that translate it into effective customer campaigns.
• Leads development of the scope of work based on functional and business requirements for Seasonal and Special Project / Brand Marketing Plans (Campaign Launches, Seasonal Marketing Strategy, Marketing Alignment Participation and Preparation Oversight, Hindsight, Quarterly Business Review, others as assigned)
• Oversees Day to day timeline management of the project from initiation through implementation and deployment
• Understands and Oversees the communication status of projects to the team and key partners on a regular basis
• Ensures proper change management documentation is executed as scope increases or decreases or project priorities shift
• Oversees the project team’s activities to guarantee overall quality of work and ensures the project is delivered on time and on budget
Cause Marketing:
• Work directly with Plus Segment cause marketing manager to assist with development of Company cause marketing Programs, including, but not limited to:
◦ Communication plan and execution
◦ Brand Champion for campaigns
◦ Tracking and Reporting
Budget Support:
• Development and High-Level management of the marketing budget process, including, but not limited to:
◦ Calendarization oversight and projection
◦ Seasonal Development
◦ Month-end close oversight
◦ Opportunity identification
Meetings, Miscellaneous & Administrative:
• Content preparation for key vertical meetings including but not limited to: Seasonal Marketing Strategy, Seasonal Marketing Alignment, Monthly Reviews and Quarterly Business Support Plans and ensure internal teams are downloaded
• Attend merchant Concept, Line Presentation and Buy Review meetings and ensure internal teams are downloaded
• Runs and attends Creative kickoff meetings
• Participates in Initiative Team Meetings when appropriate
• Weekly touch base with Marketing Manager – Project Management
• Misc. jobs and tasks as assigned
Requirements
• 4 year college degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience
• 5-7 years marketing experience; prior experience with traffic preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office/Platforms with some Macintosh experience
• Experience with project and workflow management systems a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-motivated creative and strategic thinker with exceptional problem solving skills
• Deadline and goal oriented as well as flexible
• Must be able to multitask and effectively prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and manage results
• Possess high attention to detail and time management
• Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing and executing projects of varying complexity and delivering them within specified timeframes and budgets
