Company’s global Strategic Marketing team is seeking a full time Marketing Leadto oversee the partner-facing content strategy and development of sales narratives that showcase Company’s value proposition and market leading solutions to its audience of Global advertisers and brand partners.
The right candidate has a strong digital media background, with a proven track record of creating content for sales organizations and driving cross-functional workstreams that align content strategy to business objectives. He/she has a passion for producing world class marketing content that inspires and drives demand with an eye on results. Ability to mentor and manage while contributing as a key player is a must. Passion for music, digital media and culture is a plus.
This role reports to the Global Director of Strategic Marketing in New York.
What you’ll do
• Lead the partner-facing content strategy and delivery for Strategic Marketing.
• Translate Company for Brands narrative into compelling marketing materials and presentations, customized for key audience segments (media agencies, creative agencies, brand marketers).
• Act as an expert on Company for Brands value proposition and inform how that story is articulated consistently across every partner touchpoint.
• Oversee the creation and manage the portfolio of all marketing materials for Company’s Global Sales organization including the general presentation, seasonal narratives, vertical narratives, sizzle videos, digital touchscreen content, tentpole event messaging, etc.
• Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team to operationalize, produce and distribute localized versions of all collateral.
• Define content strategy, project frameworks and tactics for creative team(s) and vendors, balancing the value proposition and audience needs with creative storytelling and Company’s brand voice.
• Provide insights, fresh ideas and thought-leadership to the team in support of upleveling market narratives and materials through an understanding the global agency/advertising landscape, ongoing engagement with our sales teams in market and a desire to lead the category.
• Build trusted relationships across Partner Solutions leads and Sales leadership to understand and align on objectives, identify opportunities, collect ongoing feedback and ensure content and materials meet business demands and gain adoption.
• Represent Strategic Marketing in market with sales leads and clients to support the use of materials and ensure a market-level feedback loop to optimize.
• Set and maintain the calendar of collateral releases and get cross-functional buy in from key internal stakeholders across Partner Solutions and Global Sales leadership.
• Inform and drive enhancements to our internal technology platforms and tools that enable the creation and distribution of content.
• Proactively spot business challenges, propose solutions and implement changes.
• Participate in sales-wide training sessions to introduce new collateral and use cases.
• Act as the singular voice responsible for all internal communications related to Global Sales collateral updates and releases.
• Manage a team of 2 marketing manager(s)/ coordinators.
Who Your Are
• 7+ years in a digital media experience in a sales or marketing role (agency or publisher side).
• Excited about how your experience can inform the way Company’s narrative comes to life and influence outcomes in partner-facing conversations.
• Have a proven ability to translate a value proposition and business goals into compelling presentations and packaging that gets wide sales adoption.
• Experienced in developing a range of content and marketing collateral (presentations, digital content, sizzle videos, one sheets) and working closely with creative teams and partners to produce it.
• Proven ability to set a strategy, influence buy in from multiple stakeholders and activate for flawless execution against a plan.
• An excellent storyteller and presenter and cross-functional collaborator.
• Ability to deliver with speed in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
• Proven ability to lead a team.
• Highly motivated and a team player.
• Meticulous, detail oriented with a doer attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (you’ll be working closely with senior internal leadership) .
• Ability to anticipate needs of business based on team priorities and propose solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate priorities and principles to a variety of stakeholders.
• Understanding on the digital media landscape, key trends, and challenges for brand advertisers.
• Experience managing or implementing content platforms and digital marketing tools and working with technical teams who create them.
• Fluency in media publishing tools and experience with Keynote and PowerPoint and
• Global/B2B experience is a huge plus.
