As part of our company, you will develop and apply skills and experiences to support our Corporate Communications team. The purpose of the internship experience is to provide opportunities where college (undergrad and grad) students can develop, grow and become the next generation of talent for Company. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support Corporate Communications team with variety of projects, both internal and external.
• Develop press materials, including press releases, internal memos, pitch letters, recap reports etc.
• Assist in management of social media channels, including content development and monitoring
• Monitor and organize media coverage and be able to provide weekly progress reports to reflect ROI on specific PR initiatives
• Collate daily internal newsletter highlighting relevant important company and industry news
• Participate in PR planning and strategy ideation
• Attend daily editorial meetings and work closely with PR team to determine priorities for outreach
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-seeking student currently enrolled at a college or university with a GPA of at least 3.0
◦ Preferred Majors: Public Relations, Communications
• Strong interest in the news and media industries
• Well organized, detail oriented, adaptable and flexible
• Familiarity with Cision and/or Critical Mention a plus
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment
• Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills
• Previous internship experience a plus
• Technical skills required for multiple aspects of the role
◦ Ideal candidates will possess strong Office, PC and Mac skills.
