Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting marketing strategies. This position will assist the team with project management tasks related to marketing asset sharing, partner marketing requests, grand opening launches, social media and seasonal updates, PR events, as well oversight to all marketing related timelines and execution throughout the year. This position will work closely with the print production and creative teams within HQ to ensure all requests are completed and within established brand guidelines. This position will support both the HQ team to ensure all marketing programs are communicated, signed off, and executed on-time, and within brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the procurement processes of marketing projects, programs, and seasonal props and assets
• Meet daily with supervisor to review all necessary project information details, job parameters, project objectives, and strategy to ensure job requirements are being met
• Schedule and lead weekly team huddle meetings related to specific programs and communicate project status updates across Marketing and Operations as needed
• Support and coordinate the creation and execution of marketing programs in partnership with franchisee teams
• Review all marketing proposals and bring “call to action steps” when plans, strategies, ideas, and/or creative does not align with brand guidelines or strategies
• Work with the team on any potential issues that may arise with executing each project and communicate risk to all pertinent International team members
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or mass communications, preferably in a retail environment
• Procurement experience preferred, with emphasis on print, display, and packaging
• Experience tracking and prepping deliverables for localization
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
• Ability to organize information quickly and at a high level
• Solid understanding and command of project management tools
• Flexibility in accommodating rapid change
• Proven effectiveness when working under pressure
• Facility for communicating effectively one-on-one and in small and large teams
• Ability to manage through diplomacy
• Appreciation for the creative process
• Skilled at working with creative and production teams
