General Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring clear communication and updates on projects from the Media Services group to key groups inside and outside the studio. As a part of the Media Services Team, the Marketing Coordinator follows an established protocol and utilizes in–house developed tools and scripts for the tracking, processing, distribution and backup all promotional media.
Essential Functions
• Produce a weekly report on all active projects and keep and active calendar of key events.
• Compile, draft and edit marketing plan documents and adapt to a variety of formats for different audiences
• Work with a cross-functional team to execute marketing initiatives. Execute on those strategies by coordinating with the various departments responsible for deliverables.
• Maintain and update the Marketing Database with digital files, (photography, illustrations, logo art, typestyles, various format video files, etc.)
• Curate and publish marketing materials, as they are collected
• Help coordinate marketing and community activities. Track event dates, identify resources necessary for events
• Maintain consumer products inventory, highlighting when stock is getting low and in need of a reorder
• Work with the Production graphic leads and Media Services Team to ensure custom created content remains on style
• Assist the marketing photographer/videographer on clean up and finishing of captured media
• Service requests from all departments for access to any approved publicity imagery that they may require for keynotes and presentations
• Assist the Media Services team in various ad hoc projects, stay on top of current design trends and technologies and maintain a high skill level in digital content creation software systems
• Assist with the creation of special project gifts for key partners
Qualifications
• Previous professional experience in either Studio or Film Production marketing a strong plus
• Exceptional project management, communication and presentation skills
• Organizational skills - must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Previous marketing and/or advertising experience, preferably in entertainment industry
• Strong attention to detail, ability multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
• Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and collaborate in a creative, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Self-motivated, shows initiative and is a quick learner
• Experience with editing and cutting together footage for presentations a plus
• Experience with Linux and Mac OS X a plus
