POSITION SUMMARY:
Maximize the results of ADF’s marketing activities through perfect anticipation of the needs in product management, forecasting, sales and trend analysis, assortments, and promotional support. Effectively orchestrate the maintenance of the existing products while executing programs to support newness. Provide support to the Marketing Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations in the Marketing Department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•Responsible for filtering the forecast emails keeping an updated agenda clearly anticipating the deadlines for saleable products from NY, analyze the sell-in and make the forecast recommendation based on a deep analysis of sales, objectives and market survey. Ensure that Forecast Manager in NY receives the forecast information to input in the system within the deadline established by New York.
•Drives the seasonal product catalogue and assortments by retailer, including restrictions, coordination with pricing, while meeting strict deadlines. Maintain, update and communicate seasonal list of product newness, discontinuations with replacements and phase outs.
•Analyzes and issues the availability and out of stock reports for monthly estimates to support accurate budget planning and achievement of goals, and alerts the team on launch availability and updates on delayed on counter dates.
•Oversees, summarizes and updates newness forecast recap database by Brand/region/door, updated on both the Lachen recap website as well as Marketing allocations drive for future allocations to team.
•Ensures that Sales team completely allocates all newness per season in a timely manner. Tracks and communicates seasonal newness penetration to market. Conducts post launch evaluation analysis of major launches.
•Prepares monthly sell-in and sell-through analysis and submit to Marketing Manager by deadline.
•Responsible for filtering promotional/VM/non-saleable (GWPs and Samples) forecast emails from NY and IMW. Work with the Marketing Manager for final order approvals. Ensure that Forecast Manager in NY receives the forecast information to input in the system or input into IMW within the deadline established by NY.
•Develops and maintains forecast recap of all non-saleable orders by season with $value in order to track expenses. Creates allocation template and follows up with sales team to insure every element is fully allocated by client. Follows up on the availability of ordered collateral elements, and maintains the sales team informed.
•Responsible for weekly update/review of Lachen Promo Inventory. Follows-up with Lachen/NY with any discrepancies and inform updates to the field team. Develops and updates usage plans for GWPS and samples.
•Works with vendors in sourcing and negotiating pricing for special events material production, while keeping within budget. Liaises between Sales Team, Marketing and Education Managers for proper organization of promotional events.
•Raises Shopping Carts for procured goods and services while managing cost centers and budget. Timely goods receipt confirmation.
•Manages the seasonal in-store lightbox visual updates, in conjunction with VM teams, sales team and vendors.
•Oversees digital and advertising (including outdoor, print, TV, radio) initiatives, while managing the budget.
•Drafts bi-weekly Marketing Bulletin covering all brand relevant topics and updates and distributes to the sales, education and VM teams.
•Establishes with Marketing Manager and Sales Team seasonal marketing calendars per brand. Lead in the seasonal update of Marketing Book and calendars and provide copies to Sales and Education teams for proper distribution.
•Assists with preparation of Sales Meeting includes: hotel reservations, logistics and presentations. Presents newness to commercial team and internal employees as well as key retailers each season.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration.
•Minimum 3+ years of business experience preferably in marketing, analysis sales, forecasting and/or market and consumer trends.
•Fully Bilingual-read, write and speak English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
•Strong computer knowledge of Windows; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Available to travel up to 25% of the time.
