Company Enterprise currently seeks a Marketing Analyst for our Marketing Analytics and Reporting Team within our Marketing Operations Department. Below is a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to fill this position.
SUMMARY:
The Marketing Analyst plays an integral role in tracking and assessing marketing effectiveness using customer and operational analytics. The Marketing Analyst works together with a team to track marketing’s contribution to the business by measuring key performance indicators including campaign/email/landing page performance and sales funnel metrics. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for querying data, preparing reports, and providing analysis to understand and solve for specific marketing analytics and insights.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
• Supports marketing team by accurately generating custom reports and lists on a regular and on-demand basis. Includes the use of proprietary databases and reporting tools, reports from third party vendors, CRM platforms such as Salesforce and marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua and Marketo.
• Create and deliver timely analysis and reports that combine data from multiple sources and effectively communicate key business performance metrics and insights to senior level management and cross-functional partners.
• Provide easy-to-understand analysis with results that highlight key issues and facts.
• Maintain data integrity and standardization across multiple databases and sources, including internal databases and corporate tools. Take the lead on identifying issues and resolving data discrepancies.
• Partner with functional Marketing, Operations, and Analytics teams as needed to deliver insights and analysis from multiple data sources. This includes the ability to comprehend initial analysis requests, and also recognize the need for additional data to provide stakeholders with a more complete picture of performance drivers and underlying insights beyond the original request.
• Generate ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills required.
• Strong experience with Salesforce and Marketing Automation Platforms (Eloqua, Marketo).
• Ability to translate numbers and data into meaningful information for a broad audience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and create compelling marketing reports.
• Excellent systems knowledge and data mining/query-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Close attention to detail and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Tableau and/or SQL experience a plus.
Education (level and type)
• Bachelor's Degree (marketing, statistics, business) or equivalent experience.
• MBA or advanced graduate degree in a quantitative field preferred.
Related Work Experience
• 2+ years of experience in analysis roles, preferably in Marketing for the Telecom industry.
• A proven record of success producing business insights, analysis and trending.
• Experience partnering with Marketing, Operations, and Analytics teams in a fast-moving environment delivering critical business insights quickly and accurately.
