Manager, Visual Merchandising TSR (TBL)
Position Summary:
Oversee the execution of visual brand direction within all Timberland Specialty Stores. Be the voice on how Timberland Retail brings to life the marketing stories within our stories within our stores. Establish control related standards and procedures.
Job Requirements:
• 5-7 years of related professional experience
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Marketing, ideally in a specialty retail environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional business partners
• Strong communication skills
• MS Office, File Maker Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative and on brand floor sets that clearly communicate key product stories and support all brand goals and initiatives. Executions need to enhance the consumer experience and drive conversion. Partner with Merchandising, Planning and Marketing Teams to review product flow and key stories. Coordinate plans with Merchandising and Allocations Teams to align with in-store promotions. Drive the Visual execution of product and story telling through elevated and innovative design.
• In partnership with Global Visual Merchandising develop monthly window display changes. Work with NA Marketing to determine best options from the global design for NA executions. Assist Marketing with brief development for any NA specific window executions.
• Create clear and concise window, floor set and launch installation communications for stores, insuring accurate and consistent execution. Develop and execute training seminars.
• Develop and maintain production/distribution matrices for all window, launch, and in store executions. Maintain a strong understanding of the individual complexities and special parameters of each full price store location.
• Manage and develop the Visual Advocate Field Team program. Insure Team’s full understanding of floor sets and launch installations. Provide opportunities for team to lead through their communication of interim floor set updates and training staff at store openings.
• Advise on fixture count and configuration for new and remodeled stores. Analyze floor plans insuring alignment with current product strategies and capacity needs.
