Responsibilities
• Maintains Programme Templates in Traffic System, working with Ad Sales on current Sales needs.
• Create Live templates for Awards Season shows or any other Live events.
• Supervises version scheduling, working with Operations and Programming on correct placement.
• Work closely with NBCU local offices regarding Programming issues.
• Advises Ad Sales of weekly inventory and programming problems.
• Work closely with ad-sales office regarding sponsorship campaigns.
• Work closely with On Air Strategy and OAP on Media Planning
• Produce monthly Post Report to ad-sales for Cross Promo Campaigns, Barters, TVC or any other sponsorship placed by Traffic Team.
• Resolve daily discrepancies received from Master control, and advise other departmental personnel as needed.
• Communicates problems to Broadcast App Support as needed.
• Coordinates the response to Broadcast App Support information requests.
• Pre-empts commercials as needed.
• Interview / hire contractors.
• Other duties as needed and assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years experience at a broadcast television station, network or cable network's Traffic/Sales Service department.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication and people skills.
• Experience using a graphical Integrated Traffic Management System – Landmark preferred.
