JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Store Design role drives cross-functional alignment for Company Retail stores in support of key brand, product and business initiatives that deliver on brand equity, traffic, sales, conversion, market share growth and new consumer acquisition in our US and Canada retail stores.
Key Results:
• Tactical Development of Architectural Documentation in support of construction budget and timing targets for New Retail Stores and renovations
• Design development initiatives to compete in the retail market place within business driving budget targets.
• Strong relationships with business partners in increased and higher consumer experience and connection to the brand in our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drives growth across US and Canada by providing store design solutions in schematic design/ design development/ and construction document accountabilities. 3D renderings and multiple iterations of design setting and meeting cost and milestone date targets in support of project PER.
• Contributing Architectural expertise in cross-functional collaboration and deliverables (Cost estimation for PER, time estimation for Real Estate Deal and Construction) with US and Canada Retail: Real Estate, Brand Environment, Marketing, Merchandising Strategy to drive consistency across tactics and generate traffic and conversion for accounts.
• Integrates GRLT on key initiatives (Transform Mainline) and core business needs to identify marketing’s role in supporting the business
• Negotiating Land Lord and City Gov. facing- best conditions of the design with the LL Store Design teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, from Accredited Architecture School
• Strong Retail Architecture Design and PM experience: strategic capabilities, cross-tactic store design and construction skills and senior leadership facing experience required.
• Attention to detail, and strong follow-up is required
• Team player and collaborator experience required
• 5-9 years of work experience with Global Retail Brands or Architecture Firm (Architect of Record)
• Personal traits: team oriented, energetic, takes initiative, has a point of view, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
