Position Overview
Crackle is currently seeking a talented Social Media Communications Manager with a passion for marketing in an ever changing media universe. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the position’s primary responsibilities are to lead all social media marketing efforts for the Crackle brand and its various properties.
Responsibilities
• Owner of social presence for Crackle brand, Crackle Originals
• Management of programs across other social profiles (owned by Home Entertainment) to drive promotion/visibility/awareness to programming and marketing of Crackle and its content
• Identify, engage, manage external social agencies in collaboration with Originals Marketing for special by series programs.
• Responsible for building and maintaining all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat and new/emerging platforms such as location based social media.
• Leads efforts of the planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurement and content are relevant to target audience.
• Responsible for community engagement and involvement.
• Devise, direct and manage customer service strategy on social platforms. Develop POV/strategy for management. Identify tools to simplify. Educate agency with appropriate details on products and services (with regular updates) to stay current.
• Develop a social influencer network strategy. Establish and grow relationships with key influencers in the digital space, such as bloggers, highly followed personalities, etc.
• On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities, and assess against goals; identify trends and insights, and optimize plan based on these insights . Publish post mortem reports on each Original program.
• Support other key marketing efforts as needed.
Requirements
• In depth knowledge of social media, with extensive experience with social tools (Blogs, discussions, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, and Reddit…)
• 3-6 years experience in digital marketing for Latin America with special emphasis on Social Media
• Bilingual, English and Spanish, Portuguese a Plus
• Expertise in communication in an evolving media landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communications including great grammar and posting ability.
• Passion for digital marketing and ability to consistently stay ahead of market trends
• Highly creative; ability to generate ideas and execute against them
• Strong presentation skills
• College degree from a top school
• Public Relations or Marketing Communication experience a plus
