Manager Merchandising, BU Originals
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support the BU Director in defining the Market's short- and mid-term objectives for respective division within category to meet all KPIs.
Implement global strategies in a locally relevant way, considering different consumer needs and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
• Select an optimal range within the parameters
• Manage all aspects of range merchandising, including segmentation
• Establish pricing of the range
• Lead Global sell-ins to channels and retailers
• Provide market input based on consumer focused mindset to both global and CCT for optimal products
• Brief Coms and Newsroom for sell in/sell out support
• Develop respective category or division forecast as part of the IBP process
• Manage all relevant KPI for respective division
• Provide all relevant KPI reporting for the respective category or division
• Participate in Cross Functional team
• Analyzing status quo > creating a strategy > implementation > evaluation of the plan
Managerial
• Establish a high performance culture and lead by example
KPIs:
• Brand Health KPIs (Brand momentum, Net Promoter Score, Spontaneous purchase intent, etc.)
• NS vs Budget
• Go in Margin
• Forecast Accuracy and process excellence
• Sellout market share of key products
Key Relationships:
• Global BU
• Market peers reporting into the BU lead
• Market Concepts-to-Consumer team
• Market Channel teams
• Market Key Retailers
• CCT
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Cross-functional Marketing knowledge and experience in sport categories (sporting goods industry preferred)
• Project leadership
• Consumer focused mindset with passion for Brand
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
Requisite Education
/Qualifications:
• University degree
• Professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
• Fluency in both local language and English
