The Marketing Strategic Planning and Analysis team at Company serves the broader organization by driving reliable, accurate and insightful business narrative in cooperation with our Marketing, Data Science, Engineering and Product partners, and supporting them through informed data driven recommendations to optimize decision making.
The team is looking for a Manager, Marketing Strategic Planning & Analysis to help drive efficiency for performance marketing channels (SEM, Social, Display, etc) as Company continues to reimagine and reengineer how millions of people experience travel.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage data and financial analysis, creativity and business understanding to research and discover business growth opportunities
• Forecast monthly business KPIs by channel and region based on historical data and understanding of marketing activities
• Create ROI curves at channel and region levels to guide optimal budget allocation strategies
• Collaborate with cross functional partners to uncover performance drivers and recommend actionable next steps to marketing leaders and execs
• Define, track and report key business metrics to assess overall business health and trend
• Partner with Brand Marketing and Brand Analytics teams to understand full funnel impact of marketing activities
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in business or financial analytics preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science
• Proactive and creative problem solver with tremendous intellectual horsepower
• Exceptional ability to effectively collaborate with and influence business partners
• Strong communication skills to all levels of the organization
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or MBA preferred
• Experience with querying large data sets like SQL, hive etc
• Experience in digital marketing analytics highly desired
