Manager, Marketing Operations NOAM, MAC
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
GENERAL
• Responsible for Limited Life Launch and Continuous/Permanent Life collateral
• Manage North America launches (launch name/description, ship date, on & off counter dates, distribution); list of programs and on-counter dates for collateral planning
• Prepare various reports and order templates
• Partner with Executive Director of Product Marketing to develop sampling strategy and drive execution
LAUNCH COLLATERAL PLANNING & ORDERING
• Develop/create a process/tracking sheet to closely manage all collateral and samples needs
• Partner with Global Marketing, Creative Services, GBSC and Customer Service to ensure North America collateral needs are delivered on time
• Estimate for each new launch limited life and permanent collateral quantities as well as new supplies based on launch type, distribution, door count and door profile.
• Prepare new launch limited life & permanent collateral final allocations by door and upload into Passport for processing
ONGOING PERMANENT COLLATERAL PLANNING AND ORDERING
• Manage monthly permanent collateral forecasts by reviewing each item code by demand, allocations, inventory, and budget
• Track and input monthly permanent collateral orders submitted by the field
• Provide recommendation on areas to be improved and to reduce spend
• Enter, revise and remove forecasts for continuous collateral and discontinued items into the Collateral Requirements Area (CRA) in SAP on a monthly basis
• Review monthly permanent collateral field demand vs. inventory vs. forecast and facilitate monthly conference call with Supply Chain, 3rd Party Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service
DOOR PROFILE
• Work closely with Finance, Visual Merchandising and Store Design to maintain accurate door lists and collateral profiles by door
BUDGET & FORECASTING
• Build collateral budget for full year based on new lunches and existing needs
• Provide recommendation on areas to reduce spend
• Estimate quantities required for the fiscal collateral budget prepared by Marketing by providing door count, counter count, outposts/kiosks, and training facilities
• Prepare fiscal collateral & supplies budget plan (including light boxes, displayers, supplies, counter cards, etc.)
• Prepare the fiscal forecasts plan based on the budget, by item code, calendarized by month and enter into SAP.
• Prepare and submit the monthly supply and displayer budget estimated spend
SAMPLING
• Responsible to execute sampling strategy for North America
• Partner with Global Marketing to develop specific samples to cover North America needs
• Responsible for forecasting, tracking and managing samples for all channels in North America
• Manage samples spend and ensure it is aligned with budget
POSITION SUMMARY:
The NOAM Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible to manage and support the NOAM Marketing and NOAM field team ongoing operational needs including but not limited to NOAM collateral, supplies needs/orders, samples and responsible to overall collateral budget.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• College or Master’s degree
• 5 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for North America market, consumer, and industry trends
• Thorough knowledge of PC, expert Microsoft Excel level required as well as familiarity with SAP
• Strong analytical skills and affinity with numbers & financial reporting
• Independent, detail oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
• Team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross functional teams
