The responsibilities of the Manager, Marketing at Syco Entertainment may include, but will not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Plan, strategize and execute exciting and original strategic marketing campaigns across Syco Entertainment.
• Develop and execute innovative and groundbreaking partnerships opportunities.
• Manage marketing campaigns from start to finish by coordinating/communicating responsibilities to appropriate departments within the US and UK.
• Develop compelling and creative marketing presentations around artists on the SYCO roster
• Pursue innovative traditional and non-traditional marketing opportunities that expand the Syco artist landscape.
• Collaborate across digital to develop and produce one of a kind social and commerce initiatives.
• Work alongside the digital team, PR team, A&R and tour marketing team on all artist campaigns.
• Work with the creative department on creating new and fresh images and advertisement, as well as arrange photo shoots and video shoots alongside the PR department.
• Create marketing materials catered to the aesthetic of each individual artist campaign
• Work in conjunction with publicity to secure online press features and events to increase visibility/awareness for artists and releases.
• Research and determine brands that align with SYCO artists and negotiate key business terms for potentials partnerships.
• Manage multiple projects from beginning to end a meet deadlines
• Work with artists, management and label colleagues to devise and implement innovative, attainable and successful digital campaigns.
• Maintain marketing budgets
• Analyze radio, sales and consumer response data to make informed marketing decisions and utilize that information to benefit the artist campaign.
• Work in conjunction with Syco TV and Film divisions and where appropriate between music, TV, Film and other crossovers.
Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years of marketing experience in the entertainment industry
• Record label experience preferred but not necessary
• Passionate about all things music, marketing, digital and the Syco culture.
• Ability to think innovatively and creatively and always on the cutting edge
• Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners.
• Excellent understanding of the global digital landscape in regards to competitors, social networks and multi-platform media.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in an agile environment, and a high comfort level in proactive planning and reactive execution when opportunities are presented.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to set deadlines and work independently.
• Knowledge of traditional, non-traditional and emerging marketing as it relates to digital and social media outlets.
• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
• An excellent understanding of how to communicate with different audiences and strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and build rapport at all levels, and to explain complex issues.
• Must be adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to create multiple artist schedules and budgets.
• Successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
