• Oversee a team of analysts who are responsible for revenue & expense reporting, billing, T&E, invoice coding, and month-end accruals
• Manage the execution of weekly & monthly forecasting reports that are sent to senior management
◦ Compare bookings vs. forecast and budget on a weekly basis and work with sales directors to ensure pacing is aligned and that forecasts are updated as necessary
◦ Provide reporting to General Managers and Finance Directors at each of the print magazines reflecting integrated sales figures
◦ Provide spend vs. budget reports to directors across HDM sites and business units; review trends with site directors on an as-needed basis
• Work with vendors on special projects related to enhancing reporting and billing processes as business needs change. Liaise with department heads across multiple Hearst divisions to ensure company-wide processes and efficiencies are shared
• Calculate quarterly sales rep commissions for both the HDM & integrated sales teams
• Provide senior management with ad hoc reporting and analyses
• Manage the billing process for Direct & Programmatic revenue
◦ Ensure billing is in line with accruals and that any large discrepancies are accounted for and communicated with the sales team
◦ Liaise with the AdOps team to resolve any billing discrepancies
• Complete month-end accruals for both Direct & Indirect revenue and expenses
◦ Complete month-end close analyses to ensure accruals are in line with bookings/forecast for the month; review estimates with Executive Director of Finance & Yield
• Assist the Credit & Collections department in resolving client payment discrepancies
• Manage the internal & external revenue audit process
