POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Digital Commerce will help manage the business side of Company (TNF) digital shopping development and enhancement. This role will help lead implementation and execution of initiatives to create best-in-class digital commerce experiences across all North America Digital Commerce channels (i.e., desktop, mobile site, native mobile apps, in-store digital shopping, more), while simultaneously growing key performance indicators (KPIs) (e.g., conversion, sales, app downloads, etc).
This role will help represent the brand voice and perspective in cross functional project teams during all stages of digital projects. The person in this role will be responsible for establishing digital commerce control-related standards and procedures for managing success and must be able to: recognize opportunities, develop project goals, develop business requirements, develop estimates and ROI analysis, create budget requests, manage budget spend, help negotiate vendor contracts, scope a project, lead business acceptance validation (BAV) testing, project approval/sign-off and launch.
Example projects include: native mobile app development and enhancements, checkout enhancements, shop flow redesign, on-site search enhancement, My Account update, among many others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with Sr. Manager, Digital Commerce and Omnichannel to help manage development and enhancement of digital commerce experiences. Help influence the development of TNF’s commerce experience to ensure it properly extends the brand and maintains parity between channels.
• Manage and prioritize initiatives across all digital commerce channels to lift revenue, increase conversion and average order value (AOV), while also managing evolution of an effective user experience that drives high customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
• Represent the digital business on cross functional project teams. Lead project implementation and execution, including producing conversion goals and forecasts of projects to provide optimized digital experiences to drive positive KPI changes.
• Help lead project life cycles, including: planning, execution/implementation, change management, testing and defect resolution. Develop feature requirements and drive execution to those requirements. Measure overall project results against plan.
• Lead native mobile app implementation, execution and roadmap. Utilize analytics, customer research and industry trends to develop native app roadmap and scope.
• Recommend future projects based on customer research and analysis of industry trends. Leverage customer research, use pattern analytics, industry trends and other data sources to validate and inform digital feature development and roadmap.
• Work closely with Sr. Manager, Digital Commerce and Omnichannel and Director, Digital Commerce to help define TNF’s digital experience roadmap.
• Work with Testing and Personalization Coordinator to identify and test new optimization and growth opportunities. Help develop success criteria and analytic requirements that support test development. Monitor and analyze test results and performance. Drive implementation of features that demonstrate positive results.
• Work closely with TNF digital marketing team, TNF retail store team, external vendor partners, IT, Customer Service, VF Digital Lab, TNF Europe team and other groups as needed during project execution.
• Consistently communicate with leadership and other stakeholders regarding conversion, performance results, current and future initiatives, successes and course corrections. Share best practices and learnings with various teams for continual improvement and optimization.
• Attend stakeholder meetings to gain understanding of requests and provide subject matter expertise for digital commerce components.
• Apply a strong sense of design and eCommerce technology expertise to project planning and execution.
• Provide mentorship to team members, such as web developer(s). Oversee personal development and workload management for direct reports, if any, and champion their needs.
• Develop business requirements for projects related to a range of channels and interfaces designed to support online sales, increase conversion, decrease abandonment, and other, similar KPIs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years of related professional eCommerce experience on both desktop and mobile platforms, preferably within a B2C online retail company. Native mobile app experience highly preferred.
• Educational/Position Requirements:
◦ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
◦ Experience in the mobile space with in-depth knowledge of Mobile and digital commerce business with a blend of business and technical skills.
◦ Strong expertise in digital commerce. Familiarity with mCommerce technology, information architecture, mobile design and user experience best practices.
◦ Travel: 5%

◦ The successful person in this role will possess a mix of basic technical understanding of how modern digital commerce works, along with strong customer-centric business acumen.
◦ Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong data-driven decision-making skills.
◦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with all areas of TNF and influence others in a collaborative work environment.
◦ Highly motivated, organized, able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
◦ Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics, or Omniture. Strong Excel analytical skills.
◦ Knowledge about Scrum/Agile methodologies.
◦ Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful with a mindset of continual improvement and testing.
