Purpose:
• To ensure data accuracy and completeness as well as the efficient use of the costing systems through data reporting, analysis and the provision of systems training to Liaison Office (LO) and factory Costing staff
• To collect, benchmark and analyze regional costing data for the respective LO in support of costing standards and policy improvement
• To provide data to Senior Manager Costing FW that supports negotiation of product cost in support of brand product margin requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Seasonally analyze LO costing data, e.g. profit, labour, overhead, tooling & material cost, forecast, order volume, product complexity, etc…
• Support the Senior Manager Costing FW to prepare for cost negotiations by analyzing total spend by factories’ suppliers (T2), benchmarking and analyzing cost elements across product ranges and process analysis
• Provide Process & Technical Support for PLM and PDM Costing System to LO and Factory Costing Teams – Systems Champion / Systems Super User
• Ensure costing data for all brands is accurately stored in PDM/PLM at the required timelines
• Support the Senior Manager Costing FW in workload planning and prioritization as well as Costing progress tracking during the costing milestones
• Analyze material consumption, productivity standards and processing cost across the region, ensuring adherence with policies and standards
• Analyze and benchmark factory manufacturing and development overhead cost
• Contribute to Costing policy updates and creation for FW Sourcing on behalf of the LO
• Maintain the seasonal costing grids (incl mid- and outsole grids) and make adjustments according negotiation results and exchange rate fluctuations
• Provide KPI reporting to Senior Manager Costing FW, e.g. Target FOB achievement, pph target & actual, Factory CBD accuracy
• Monitor exchange rate movements and initiate product cost revisions as per exchange rate policy
• Support the Senior Manager Costing FW in Communication, such as presentation of seasonal costing achievements to Sr. Mgmt
• Organize Regional Meeting

• FOB trend report
• Supplier FOB component report and analysis
• Supplier model complexity report
• Supplier productivity report
• CBD completion report
• Factory Costing Performance Report
Key Relationships:
• Factory Costing; LO Costing; HQ Costing; Costing Analysts across Asia; LO Ops Teams.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Fluent Spoken and Written English (Required)
• Influencing Skills and interpersonal skills to effectively operate in a matrix organisation
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to effectively use systems for data analysis and reporting.
• Self starter that continuously looks for improvement with limited supervision
• Some technical experience and knowledge of product construction and manufacturing methods helpful (industrial engineering or development experience).
• IT-skills (e-mail, MS Office, Excel, Access, PLM a benefit).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global business setting.
• Good sense of integrity.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management - Minimum
• Advanced or Graduate degree in Finance or Engineering - Preferred
• 5 years professional experience in footwear or apparel development or manufacturing - Preferred
